The counselor of the Sea and the Water Cycle commits in to speeding up the formalities of the Coast

Juan Manuel Lafuente, the counselor of the Sea and Water Cycle, has committed, after a meeting with the Association of those affected by the delimitation of Formentera’s coasts and the Association of beach concessionaires, to expedite the procedures for Coasts.

According to the Counselor of the Sea and Water Cycle in a statement, Lafuente has visited Formentera in its official way to transfer the firm commitment of the Government with the island.

“It is essential the collaboration of all parties, even the particular companies, to get the protection of the sea. That's why it is necessary the involvement and commitment of everybody, not only the administration”, affirms Lafuente.

Lastly, the counselor has insisted that the objective is to require all the agents so that they actively participate in the caring and protection of the sea, “looking for a balance between the activity of the residents and the economy”.
