The Elite of Balearic Canoeing Gathers in Mahón

On Saturday, February 22, the junior, senior, and veteran competitions will take place, while on Sunday, February 23, it will be the turn of the younger categories, from benjamín to cadet. The event will be held from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days.

The former Maritime Station of the Port of Mahón will serve as the impressive venue for the Balearic Winter Canoeing Championship, scheduled for February 22 and 23, organized by the Mahón Maritime Club in collaboration with the Balearic Federation. More than 300 athletes will participate in this event, which will take place over two days, filling the Mahón harbor with color and determination.

The Mahón Maritime Club canoeing team is coming off a historic season, having dominated Balearic waters by winning the Balearic Championship by teams in the senior, junior, master, and young promises categories. Now, the challenge is to organize an event that will feature a grandstand at the Maritime Station, set up specifically for the occasion, as well as a bar and service area.
