The event started at 8:30 PM in the CNR tent, with a menu consisting of shrimp cocktail, croquettes, and beef stew, topped off with apricot cake and homemade nougat, all accompanied by cava and wine.

The evening, which lasted until midnight, saw significant participation from members and their companions, along with members of the Board of Directors. About 90 people gathered for the occasion around their passion for fishing. Upon arriving at the tent, they were greeted by a Christmas tree made of fishing lures, as well as the projection of a summary video, featuring a selection of photos from the entire season.

After the meal, the award ceremony for prizes and trophies was conducted, both for the individual ones for each of the 7 events held throughout the year and for the record championship, which awards the heaviest catches of the year.

The winners received vouchers to spend on fishing gear at the Fishing d’Or store in Campos. Additionally, all participants received a gift, a knife engraved by the CNR. Also, the skippers who participated the most in the club’s fishing events throughout the year were given a jacket with the Fishing Club logo.

"This year, we held a total of 7 fishing events, in addition to one for children, complete with snacks and a meal afterwards. We have significantly increased participation in the events, and we currently have 41 boats registered in the Fishing Club," highlights Esteve Ferrer, Fishing delegate of the CNR. "Looking ahead to this upcoming season starting in January, we will expand the number of events to 10, including as a new addition a Deep Sea Fishing Test," he emphasizes.
