The fifteen crews that attended this weekend in Getxo experienced two days of intense races to decide the winner of the EKP Regatta and the winning crew of the Iberdrola League, Spanish Women's Sailing Championship.

Over two days of good wind, where conditions remained between 8 and 10 knots with calm seas, all crews raced seven regattas in the waters of the inner Abra in Biscay, which included a Medal Race among the top five crews to define the final classification.

CN Arenal, Solgreen Sailing Team from RCN Valencia, and the team from the Royal Canarian Sailing Federation arrived at the Medal leading the table, facing off in a definitive regatta with double scoring, in which the victory of the team from the Canarian Sailing Federation, RCNGC, would give the islanders the final victory in the EKP Regatta, the last test of the Iberdrola League, followed by the Solgreen Sailing Team from RCN Valencia and CN Arenal.

But in addition to the victory of Isabel Hernández, Patricia Reino, Martina Reino, Carlota Sánchez, and María Jose Marichal, members of the crew of the Royal Canarian Sailing Federation, the trophy presentation celebrated the triumph of CN Arenal Arenal in the Iberdrola League.

Aina Colom, Marina Bonet, Nicola Jane Sadler, and Sofia Cavaco, CN Arenal, finished in third place in Getxo and obtained the first place in the general classification of the Iberdrola League, also proclaiming themselves champions of Spain in Women's Sailing.

The crews from CN Altea and RCN GC-7Up completed the podium for this 2024 edition of the Iberdrola League.

This definitive event included crews from the Real Club Náutico de Madrid, Real Club Náutico de Santander, Real Club Náutico de San Sebastián, Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, Club Náutico Arenal, Club Náutico Altea, Real Club Náutico de Calpe, Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona, Real Club Náutico de Valencia, Real Club Náutico de Palma, Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria, Real Club Náutico Port Pollenca, Getxo Bela Eskola, and the hostesses of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club.
