Thus, in recreational fishing, 50 fish may be caught per person per day, with a maximum of 300 fish per boat.
In addition, no greenfin tuna smaller than 30 centimetres may be caught around Ibiza and Formentera until 1 October.
This year the Fisheries Service will carry out surveillance of the coastline with the boat 'Artet', launched at the end of 2022, and by using a drone.
Data will also be collected from September onwards, providing an overview of the entire coastline, with the help of volunteer recreational fishermen who will report on the size of catches and sex.
In addition, in collaboration with other administrations and research centers, data will be taken on the incidence of a parasite that causes white or black spots on the skin of the cleaver wrasse.
The Consell has recalled the obligatory nature of catches in the Es Freus and Tagomago reserves, a procedure that can be carried out through the Diario de Pesca Recreativa (DPR) application. It has also recommended that fishermen have their recreational fishing license up to date.
