The Ibiza JoySail enters top of the rankings of the world superyachts regattas

After three successful editions, the Ibiza, the Ibiza JoySail Superyacht Regatta, has been included in the calendar of the best regattas. This is an important milestone in his still short career and is a sign of recognition that currently has within the global community of superyacht regattas.

Having three editions behind it and being able to be on this list of the best regattas, and among them some with an important historical trajectory, is a great recognition of which the organization is very proud, but it is worth noting that this recognition is only due to the opinions and testimonials of those who have participated these last three years. 

The Ibiza JoySail, promoted by STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza, is held between the extraordinary and paradisiacal waters of Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera, and is an exciting experience for both experienced sailors and amateurs, as it offers participation in different types of categories; from Performance to Corinthian without the need to change the configuration of the boat or reinforce crew or sails.

The possibility of participation in different categories according to the level of competition sought by each owner and its "family&friends" regatta format, ideal to end the summer season in a relaxed atmosphere, have been two important keys to the success of this event. 

To these two aspects we must add that, after its success in the first editions, its promoters decided to turn it into an invitational regatta to make it more exclusive and desirable, but also to have everything under control and that no detail was missing, something that all participants have always valued very satisfactorily.

The fourth edition in 2024 arrives full of novelties and is that sailing enthusiasts will be able to live the experience one more day in Ibiza and, on the other hand, will offer the opportunity to beat the record, so far led by the Swan 115 S/Y "Moat". During a window of 30 days before the regatta, participants who wish to do so will be able to go out at any time and depending on the weather conditions to try to snatch the record from the crew of the "Moat".

This young but already well known regatta combines the excitement of competitive sailing with the beauty of the Balearic waters and an exclusive program of social events, offering participants an extraordinary backdrop to end the season with a memorable experience. 

From September 19th to 22nd, the fourth edition of the Ibiza Joysail will be held with STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza as hosts along with collaborators and nautical companies that do not want to miss the opportunity to participate in an event that has recovered the old spirit of the mythical regattas where competition meets the beauty of a paradise and the relaxed atmosphere but full of energy and fun.
