On Sunday, February 9, the 15th Ciudad de Cartagena Trophy concluded in the waters of Cartagena, where 100 sailors from 16 teams competed. Among them, seven sailors from Club Náutico Ibiza participated.

On Saturday, February 8, the wind arrived late, allowing for two races to be completed, while on Sunday, February 9, only one race was held. In total, six races were completed out of the nine initially planned.
Ian Maurovich was the best-performing Ibizan sailor, stepping onto the podium as third place in the U13 categoryand finishing 16th overall, accumulating 85 points. His best performance was a seventh-place finish in the final race. Another standout sailor from C.N. Ibiza was Lamis Casco, who finished 35th overall. Gerard Ribas placed 54th, Carlota Mediero 55th, Lluc Torres 61st, Nikola Donati 66th, and Luay Casco 71st, completing the performances of the Ibizan sailors.
The trophy remained in Murcia, thanks to the victory of M.ª Antonia Peñalver of C.N. Mar Menor, who won the competition with 14 points.
Now, the Ibizan team is preparing for its next event, which will take place in the Bay of Palma, where the regional championship will be contested. Club Náutico Ibiza will send eight qualified sailors to this final phase of the Balearic Optimist Championship, which this year is organized by C.N. Arenal.
