The International Windsurfer of Es Nàutic will feature a clinic taught by Fernando Lamadrid

Fernando Lamadrid, the most honored sailor of the Windsurfer class of our country, will give a clinic to the enthusiasts of this sport the next 1st and 2nd of May, in the period of the third edition of the International Windsurfer Ibiza Meeting, that is organized by Es Nàutic.

This sport event, in which windsurfers participate from different places from Europe and the world, and includes the practice of the sport with touristic, gastronomical and cultural activities, it is celebrated after the course of this specialist, between the 3rd and 5th of May.

Fernando Lamadrid, who is one of the most recent champions of Europe,  with a track record full of national and international titles, will participate in the tests facing the other competitors, although all those who wish, to complete places, will have the opportunity to learn beforehand to perfect their technique by the hand of this great master. The training will take place on the beach of s'Arenal, in front of the Hotel Ses Savines.

The International Windsurfer Ibiza Meeting (IWIM 2024) will again have the character of the Spanish Cup in Open mode, which is open to international participation. It is organized by Es Nàutic, with the sponsorship of the Ibiza brand, thanks to the participation of the Consell Insular d'Eivissa through FECOEV. The International Windsurfer Class Association is also collaborating.

The Windsurfer is a class that each time has more followers and counts on with an own philosophy. Even though all the boards are the same (of carbon, with a sail of 5.7m2, folding fin and an extendable boom), the categories are not by age but by weight and are open to anyone who wishes to participate.
