The Marina Militare vessel “Chaplin” is now in Palma as part of the 2024 training campaign. From this Monday, August 12, until next Tuesday, August 20, this Italian Navy sailboat will be moored at the pier in front of the Club de Mar, where it can be visited from 18:30 to 20:30 hours on the days of August 12, 13, 14, and 19.

Third-year midshipmen from the Naval School of Livorno are embarked to refine their sailing skills in transfer navigations and in the international regattas of the vintage sailing circuit in which the unit will participate, also planned in Mahón and Barcelona, concurrently with the 37th America's Cup.
The “Chaplin,” built in 1974 by the Sangermani shipyard in Lavagna and designed by Carlo Sciarrelli, is classified as a "Marconi Cutter" and has a length of 16.75 meters.
