This edition set a participation record with 54 sailors in the Radio Control class. With a fantastic atmosphere and exceptional weather, the event, organized by RCN Torrevieja, featured 9 qualifying races in three fleets and 8 final series, totaling 17 races.
The regatta, held at Puerto Romero, was highly exciting due to the close competition at the top of the standings throughout the championship. The fight for the top positions remained intense until the final race. The tension lasted throughout the event among four participants: José Valverde (AND), Miguel Salvador (BAL), Guillermo Beltrí (VAL), and Juan Marcos Egea (MUR). They were all separated by just a few points, constantly swapping podium positions throughout the championship. In the last three races, Juan M. Egea gradually pulled ahead, gaining points little by little until he secured first place by a very narrow margin over Guillermo Beltrí, who was testing a new hull model. The Balearic sailor Miguel Salvador, from Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx, clinched third place by just 0.4 tenths of a point ahead of Andalusian José Valverde.
