The Valencian team did so brilliantly and indisputable, achieving a difference of just over 9 hours over the second. When the FRERS 45 took the finish in Moraira, Saturday the 27th at 16.27 hours, the second at that time was the "Smerit" of Tito Moure with a Swan 45, was facing the passage of Tabarca and setting course to Moraira.

The '300 Millas' had the wind against them once again, despite the fact that at the start everything pointed to this year's edition being fast. The fleet sailed stretched but grouped together towards Tabarca with good wind conditions. In the early hours of Thursday morning and when the head of the fleet, with the 'big ones' already on the island and the rest a few miles away, the wind said goodbye.

Then a light breeze, already on Friday, allowed the boats to move to some extent. "Aquarelle 1" made the most of it, sailing a spectacular leg to Vedranell. Behind, "Modul" was also able to make the most of the breeze, putting some ground between the Group B boats.

In the islands of Ibiza the calms were again the protagonist. For this reason the race committee, seeing that the Group B fleet was not going to arrive in time, took the decision to shorten the course in Moraira, the first step, leaving without completing a new leg to Tabarca and return to the Club, as the big ones were doing, in which "Aquarelle 1" was proving to be unbeatable.

At 16.27 hours on Saturday the 27th, Meseguer's FRERS 45 took the finish line, after spending a total of 52 hours, 27 minutes and 44 seconds to complete the 295-mile course. Smerit" (CV Blanes) was just over 9 hours behind in real time with a time of 61 h. 03 min. 06 sec. Behind came the M10 "Zas Sailing" (RCN Valencia) stopping the clock in 01 h. 47 min. 06 sec.

In Group B, in addition to the victory of "Modul" being the first to reach Moraira, with this shortened course, the Valencian "Reti" withdrew due to the injury of one of its crew members in Ibiza, which forced them to put the engine and go to Moraira as fast as possible. After a medical examination the injury is not as serious as initially feared.

In sporting terms, after the arrival of Comas' boat, the next to arrive in Moraira was Yann Lythgoe's "KIM" (CN El Portet), followed by "Guaguanco" (CN Altea), helmed by Thierry Lallemand.

After the corrected times, the podium in Group A is closed with "Aquerelle 1 Varadero Valencia", "Smerit" and "Jeffertje 3" (RCN Calpe) of Carl Bal. In Group B the podium is formed by "Modul" together with "Kim" and "Gauguanco IV".
