The Marine Museum of Mallorca searches to capture the beauty of the dry docks of the Balearic Island

The Marine Museum of Mallorca has in motion a photography competition that searches to capture the beauty of the dry docks on our islands.

From the 14th of July until the following 30th of September, the photography and marine history lovers of the Balearic Islands can give in their best shots, reflecting the singularity of these dry docks of our islands, unique heritage elements.

The interested in participating in this contest that is organized by the Marine Museum of Mallorca must send an image of a dry dock with its name, name of the dry dock, location and the following tags and hashtags: #ConcursoFotografiaEscars #Capturaelpatrimoni #ViatgeAlzina #EscarsÚnics #patrimonimarítim #museumarítimmalllorca. The requirements are that  it is only allowed to send one picture per person and the person has to be over 16 years old, also the person cannot be a professional photographer.

The judges of the contest will evaluate the focus, composition, illumination, perspective and originality of the photos presented. Taking into account these criterias they will select two images as the best of the competition, which will be known the 9th of October, and their authors will win a trip to the Alzina llaüt,  a journey that they can take one more person each. An unique opportunity to discover the gorgeous marine views and enjoy an unforgettable experience on board of a magnificent llaüt, cataloged as a BIC.
