The “Movement” as central theme for the photography competition at Port Adriano

Port Adriano starts the year with the fifth edition of its photography competition. A competition that is known in Mallorca and internationally, as every time there are more participants. It is also a sign of commitment that the port has with the culture and with the organization of activities during the whole year.

In this fifth edition the suggested theme is “The Movement”. A word that reflects very well the current situation as we are in a continuous evolution. The concept can take us from big, fast movements to small steps that may not seem important at first glance but are important in the long term. The motives that indicate movement can be very varied and pose a great creative challenge.

Participants can submit their entries until the 10th of March 2024. Participation is completely free of charge and each photographer may submit up to three photos, which must meet a minimum quality standard. Once we have all the photos, a selection of the finalists will be uploaded to the Port Adriano photography microsite.

A jury formed by the management of Port Adriano, by the collaborating entities, as well as people competent in the photographic and/or artistic art will be in charge of choosing the winners and awarding some extraordinary prizes for this type of competition:

- 3 prizes of 1,000 euros each to the 3 finalist photographs. In addition, each winner will receive a Photopills installation license.

- 1 course given by the EDIB school
