The schooner Pascual Flores will also dock in the city, aboard which small voyages can be made, as reported by the Nao Victoria Foundation in a statement.

These two historic ships will adorn the docks of Club de Mar, and the citizens and visitors of Palma will have the opportunity to visit these museum ships as part of the program of activities to celebrate the inauguration of Club de Mar and also serve as a prelude to the 'Illes Balears Clàssics' regatta to be held next August.

Access to the Nao Santa María will cost seven euros for adults, four euros for children between five and ten years of age, and will be free for younger children. For families -- two adults and up to three children -- the price will be 18 euros, while guided tours for associations will cost seven euros.

In addition, those who wish to experience sailing on a historic vessel can sign up in advance for a three-hour trip aboard the Pascual Flores, which will cost 45 euros for adults and 25 euros for children. These outings will take place on April 11, 12, 17, and 19 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sundays 13 and 20 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Tickets for visits and outings are available at tickets.velacuadra.es or directly on board the ships.

Pedestrian access to Club de Mar-Mallorca will be through the entrance on Paseo Marítimo, indicating the reason for the visit. Since the new buildings of Club de Mar-Mallorca are not yet open to the public, it is recommended to arrive on foot or by bus.

The Nao Santa María is famous for having led Christopher Columbus's expedition in 1492, a journey that marked the encounter between two worlds. It set sail from the port of Palos de la Frontera along with the caravels Pinta and Niña, forming the Columbian Fleet. In his diary, Columbus always referred to it as "nao" and never as Santa María, a name that his son Hernando introduced later. Some chroniclers called it La Gallega, suggesting it might have been built in Galicia.

On October 12, 1492, the Santa María, with a crew of 40 men, arrived in America. However, on December 25, it ran aground on the island of La Española, leading to the construction of Fort Navidad, the first Spanish settlement in the New World.

The Nao Victoria Foundation built a full-scale replica of the Nao Santa María between 2017 and 2018 in Punta Umbría (Huelva), as part of the 525th anniversary of the Encounter between Two Worlds. It was supported by the Provincial Council of Huelva and the CAJASOL Foundation, along with the participation of a hundred experts in naval carpentry, engineering, and history. During the process, an innovative system in the construction of historical replica ships of this type was applied, combining fiberglass construction with subsequent wood coating.

The vessel, 28.3 meters in length and 200 tons, incorporates modern technology such as engines, GPS, and safety systems. Since its launch on March 16, 2018, it has visited numerous ports around the world with great success, also serving as an exhibition space about its history.

The pailebote Pascual Flores, built in 1917 in Torrevieja, was a commercial sailboat dedicated to transporting salt and fruit across the Mediterranean and the African coast. With the advent of motor navigation, it became obsolete, underwent modifications, and ended up abandoned in England. In 1999, the Torrevieja City Council rescued and restored it in Galicia, respecting its original design and adapting it to current regulations. Since 2008, it has been a floating museum and ambassador of Torrevieja's maritime heritage. Thanks to an agreement with the Nao Victoria Foundation, it participates in international maritime festivals and tours to spread the history of sailing navigation.
