The dry dock of Club Nàutic Sant Antoni (CNSA) has taken care of the presentation of the renewed cruise ship ‘Nàutic Café del Mar-Neobookings-Rumbo Norte’, which has gained two new sponsors.
FOLLOW US ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES AND RECEIVE UPDATES FROM "PASSION FOR THE SEA"The new ‘Nàutic Café del Mar-Neobookings-Rumbo Norte’ is the result of one of the plans which consists of preparing the boat and of its young crew, who come from the ILCA from the CNSA, led by the technicians Javier Rabelo and Felipe Cornet. During these months they have been doing tests of altitude and circuit, with the objective to optimize the Rating and the tuning of the hull, rigging and sails. With this objective they have made an investment in renewing the sales , thanks to the contributions of the sponsors. They have been redesigned and adapted after a long process of tests and experiences from the last sailing competitions, and the conditions that predictably will be found in the team of CNSA in the bay of Palma.
The ‘Nautic Café del Mar’ is a fast and light boat, baptized originally as ‘Espada 34’. It was designed by Marcelino Botín, built in the shipyards of Polisyer in Santander and acquired by the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni in 2015. The first part of success has generated an impulse so that the project was firm, which adds to the competitive side the formative vision. One of the persons who has led the boat was by Juan Carlos Sanchís, who showed his wide experience to the project with the preparations, clothing, trims and all the factors that interfere with the improvement of the performance of the boat and the optimisation of the rating.
With this highly technical part the trainers of CNSA Felipe Cornet and Javier Rabelo they have given it continuity, also they have formed a crew made of sailors from ILCA of CNSA, which have participated in all of the trials of the circuit with the hope to be part of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, which is disputed from the 1st until the 5th of August in the bay of Palma.
