The 'Nàutic Café del Mar' Wins the 27th Costa Azahar Regatta

This weekend, the 27th edition of the Costa Azahar Regatta took place in the waters of Castellón, where the 'Nàutic Café del Mar' emerged victorious in the RI3 class. The team consisted of young sailors from the ILCA of the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni (CNSA): Joan López, Víctor Bonet, Julia Ramón, Laura Cardona, and Jaume Llorens, along with coaches Felipe Cornet and Javier Rabelo.

With this excellent result, the 'Nàutic Café del Mar' has had a fantastic start to the regatta season, winning in an event that saw a total of 26 boats participate and which counts towards the Mediterranean Zone Spain Cup. The weekend was marked by favorable weather conditions, allowing for the three planned races on Saturday and the two scheduled for Sunday to be held, with the worst result being discarded. In the RI3 category, the 'Galáctica' from the Club de Mar de Benicarló took second place, and the 'Manguicu Segundo' from RCN Castellón came in third.

The regatta was organized by the Real Club Náutico de Castellón, which presented the trophies to the winners during a lunch held at its facilities, attended by various local and sports authorities.
