The Balearic Marine Cluster and the Ecological Transition Cluster of the Balearic Islands brought together more than 30 associated companies for a networking event focused on strengthening ties and collaborating on joint projects.

The main goal of this meeting was to establish contacts to create future synergies involving both the nautical sector and the ecological transition sector of the Balearic Islands.
The event, held at Autoritat Portuària, was moderated by team dynamics specialist Neus Ramis and was attended by representatives from Alcort Ingeniería y Asesoría, Alcudiamar, Astilleros de Mallorca, Club de Mar-Mallorca, Endesa, Estel Ingeniería y Obras, Garau Ingenieros, INFE Proyectos, Isla Centinela, Nautipaints, Ocean Ecostructures, Ocibar, Phoenix One, Poraxa, Prosolvers, SeaWex, Solsulet, Todoesdata, TrueWorld Organization, U energía, Undercover Solutions, and XFuel. Additionally, Toni Salom, president of the Balearic Marine Cluster, Lucas Pastor, president of the Ecological Transition Cluster of the Balearic Islands, BMC manager Pedro Suasi, and TEIB manager Marta Pons were present.
The first part of the event featured a networking coffee where attendees could introduce themselves and exchange contacts. This was followed by a session focused on creative and collaborative thinking techniques, aimed at fostering collective responses and developing a “collective brain.”
Next, participants engaged in group activities designed to exchange opinions and find solutions to common problems. The event concluded with a group discussion sharing the conclusions reached.
Suasi emphasized, “The main goal of this event is to unite these two sectors. Although they are already collaborating on some projects, we believe it is necessary to strengthen the connections we have. As innovative business clusters, we at the Balearic Marine Cluster consider this meeting important to boost intersectoral projects that affect us and that we can present jointly.”
Pons added, “This meeting is an opportunity to establish synergies for future projects that we can present jointly between the two sectors. Always from an innovative perspective, we believe that both the ecological transition and nautical sectors have much in common, making it essential to strengthen our relationships.”
