The Navy has paid tribute to the Ferragut Mora family, whose four brothers, all octogenarians and residents of Mallorca, served in the Navy during their period of Compulsory Military Service in 1957-1963, which entailed a great sacrifice for their entire family.

Tribute was also paid to Cristóbal Ferragut Mora, who in 1958 served in the secretariat of the San Carlos Arsenal, now known as the Porto Pi Naval Station. And Antonio Ferragut Mora, who, in 1959, served on the cruiser "Méndez Núñez" based in Palma de Mallorca. Finally, the youngest of the brothers, Sebastián Ferragut Mora, who was assigned to the destroyer "Alcalá Galiano" in 1961.
The four Ferragut brothers were highlighted during the traditional Reading of Penal Laws, a solemn act in the Navy that involves all the personnel of the naval base trained in the Anchor Yard of the Porto Pí Navy Station. In this event, the Spanish Navy presented them as a living example of dedication and service to our country of those generations that have preceded us.
The event highlighted the exceptional contribution of the Ferragut Mora family, highlighting their example and the love of the sea and the Navy that they have maintained over the years. The Navy, in appreciation of their dedication, presents them as a model of service for the military personnel of the naval base.
The act of Reading of Penal Laws in the Navy is a traditional practice in the maritime military field. During this event, which is part of the Maritime Ceremonial, articles of the Ordinances and current legislation were read, as well as the rewards and punishments applied since the last session. The Commander, flanked by officers, presided over the reading in front of the crew on the ship's deck. The event concluded with the review of the crew and the inspection of compartments and services. The Commander's presence promoted discipline and good management of personnel and resources. The day for this event was determined when the Second was ready to present the ship and its crew to the Commander after a week's work.
