It has hosted more than 700 screenings that have been enjoyed by more than 300,000 spectators in 14 countries, raising more than 40,000 euros for charities dedicated to the oceans.
On this occasion, the film festival has included four Spanish venues in its tour, including Menorca (Moix Negre) and Mallorca (Cine Ciutat), where films about marine adventures and wildlife in the Arctic, Australia, Russia, Italy, Canada and France will be shown in their original version and subtitled in Spanish. "Whale Dreaming - from southern ocean live", "Broken breath", "The Storm chaser" and "Skin Swimmer" are some of the titles that festival-goers in Menorca and Mallorca will be able to enjoy.
In addition to the screening of these films, the festival is organising different complementary activities. In the case of Menorca, BInibeca beach will host a Vinyasa yoga class with Andrea Masó, as well as a talk by Menorcan photographer Enric Gener, who will talk about his work immortalising marine animals all over the world.
