STAY UP TO DATE OF WHAT WE DO AND RECEIVE OUR NEWSLETTERThe Port Authority of the Balearic Islands has completed work on the promenade in the port of Alcúdia in recent weeks. The work consisted of demolishing one of the pedestrian walkways and the wooden pergola, located above the tourist office, which formed part of this area.
The demolition of these constructions means recovering a part of the beach in its natural state prior to this intervention, without breaking the homogeneity of the rest of the pre-existing occupations.
At the same time, the second pergola, located in the middle of the promenade, and the second walkway at the end of the promenade, have been maintained. Restoration work has also been carried out on the wooden decking that characterizes the promenade.
The works, awarded by public tender to the company Amer e Hijos S.A. for 255,000 euros, began in November 2023 and have lasted three months.
