The challenging conditions of the first day gave way to an intermediate wind of about 10-12 knots quite stable that dropped in intensity during the afternoon.
It was an eventful day for the following Real Club Náutico de Palma sailors, Albert Torres and Elías Aretz, who suffered a collision with a German crew and were unable to finish that leg, although in the other two races they made a comeback and were in the middle of the fleet.
The women's class had to sail later and paid for the decrease in wind intensity, as they sailed two races instead of the three initially scheduled.
The best Spaniards in 49erFX were our representatives in Paris 2024, the sailor from Club Nàutic S'Arenal, Paula Barceló and her teammate Támara Echegoyen, who with 10-6 results moved up from sixth to eleventh place, just one point out of the top 10.
