The regatta, in which 23 boats participated divided into four categories, consisted of only one day due to adverse weather conditions on Sunday, March 9.
The events of Saturday, March 8, consisted of two windward/leeward races that took place with stable southeast wind, averaging 12 knots. "Marina," "Viking IX," and "Merengue V" achieved victory in their respective classes by securing two first places, while "Indigo" won in ORC 4 with a first and a second place.
A coastal race was scheduled for Sunday, March 9, but poor weather conditions in the Bay of Palma, with showers and heavy swell, forced the Regatta Committee to cancel the departure to sea.
The awards ceremony was moved forward to 13:00 hours in the Sala Magna of the RCNP. At the same event, awards were also given for the two previous cruiser races of the season: the Sant Sebastià Trophy (January 18) and the Noli Trophy (February 15).
All the winners of the Carnival Trophy compete under the flag of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, except "Indigo," which represents Club Nàutic Arenal.
