This weekend, the Carnival Trophy at the Real Club Náutico de Palma will gather a fleet of more than 20 cruise boats. The competition will take place over two days.

On Sunday, March 9, the start will also be at 12 noon and the fleet will undertake a coastal journey, the course of which will be announced depending on the weather. A maximum of three races are scheduled, of which at least one must be completed for the trophy to be valid.
Weather forecasts predict southeast winds of about 12 knots for Saturday, while on Sunday the wind will blow from the southwest with intensities ranging between 11 and 14 knots.
Today, March 7, in the morning, the race office was opened so that the owners of the registered boats could formalize their registration. This procedure can also be carried out tomorrow before the start of the race.
Viking IX (ORC 1), Kyo V (ORC 2), Gruñón II (ORC 3-4), Coketo (ORC Club), Sasga (Dragon), and Team RCNP (Viper) were the winners of the last edition of the Carnival Trophy held in the Bay of Palma.
On Saturday, March 8, a snack will be offered to all participants, once the races have finished and the award ceremony will take place on Sunday after the day of competition. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each group or established classes, provided there are a minimum of 8 boats that have participated.
