The event, which was attended by more than 70 people, took place in the members' lounge of the Club Náutic Portitxol and consisted of a talk focused on squid fishing. During the talk, the history of ‘eging’, a popular technique for fishing cephalopods from the shore, was discussed. The behavioral patterns of squid and cuttlefish were also unraveled and all the new products and materials developed by the Japanese company Shimano, a specialist in the field, were shown.
"It has been an exciting day of learning and fellowship around the world of cephalopods", in the words of Toni Fiol, manager of Bazar Las Palmeras, who thanked the CNP "for supporting such interesting events for the evolution of fishermen".
