'Un mar de posibilidades' is ending its 20th edition with a more than positive balance, according to those in charge. As every year, the Club Náutico Ibiza's recreational-therapeutic and sporting programme has taken advantage of the healing capacity of nature and sport to help people from groups at risk of social exclusion.
VISIT OUR ONLINE TV AND EXPERIENCE THE SEA IN FIRST PERSON, WHEREVER AND WHENEVER YOU WANTThe sea as therapy continues to be the basic foundation of an initiative to which new activities have been added, such as environmental education, participation in beach clean-ups and sailing sessions on the 'Saga', a vintage schooner whose collaboration has been warmly welcomed by organizers and users. Several trips to the sea have been made on this boat with users from a wide range of associations such as Fundació Deixalles, Caritas, the Association for the Fight Against Cancer, the occupational workshops of Can Raspalls and Cas Serres and the pro-mental health association APFEM, among others. The result of this therapeutic navigation, according to the programme organizers, has been extraordinary, achieving "a very good interaction and coexistence between the different users". Also noteworthy are the activities carried out with the Santa Eulària town council's home care services.
The results of all the actions of this year's edition will be presented at the official closing ceremony, scheduled for mid-November. An event where the successes and shared experiences of a benchmark programme will be explained, and where those responsible for the programme are already planning the next actions for the winter and the new season.
