Each one of these teams counts on four to five crew members that will compete on board of monotypes in short and fast regattas with live judges at sea. “It is a sailing format with a lot of adrenaline and is very interesting, especially for a profile of sailors from 17 or 18 years old who can no longer assume the level of demand that dinghy sailing requires, but want to continue competing," explains Ferran Muniesa, manager of the CNA. "We believe it has a lot of potential for growth in Spain," he says.
"As a club, we have been very proud to host this competition for several years now, which decides which team will represent Spain in the Sailing Champions League, facing the winners of the respective leagues in different European countries," he adds.
This Saturday 28th and 29th of October, the participating teams will sail with boats of the class Beneteu B-One sponsored by the CNA, meanwhile the races of December in Altea they will do so with boats of Platú 25.
