STAY UP TO DATE OF WHAT WE DO AND RECEIVE OUR NEWSLETTERThe director of the Sports Department of Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, Enrique Mas, has recently travelled to Tarifa (Cadiz) to promote the Spanish Wingfoil Racing Championship, which will be held in the bay of Portmany between the 4th and 6th of October. The aim was to publicize the event among the sportsmen and women of this area, which is considered the European mecca for the practice of different modalities on boards, such as windsurfing, kitesurfing and wingfoil, among others.
Enrique Mas has also held a meeting with Ramón Pastor and Serena Zoia, owners of the company Sportlink, one of the most important companies dedicated to the distribution of boards, sails and wingfoil sports equipment, obtaining their commitment as sponsors of the event, and also their collaboration in the training and promotional part of the U15 Stardboard Youth Class.
In this sense, Sportlink will provide four units of this new class and the possibility of organizing a clinic to train young sailors, at a time when this discipline is postulated as Olympic for the next games. This sponsor will also make a contribution of material to the event, in exchange for promoting its brands and the services it offers to fans of water sports on boards.
The trip to Tarifa has also served to get Franco Lattanzio, prestigious specialist and reference in the world of wingfoil and promoter of the company Tarifa Wings, to become an ambassador of the event in Tarifa, also participating as a sailor in the competition. Lattanzio has also made a commitment to the CNSA to provide training for the Ibizan sailors in the form of a clinic or concentration throughout the year.
"Tarifa is an essential enclave when it comes to promoting water sports on boards, such as wingfoil, kite and windsurfing. To know, understand, progress or promote any of these modalities you have to go there because it is where the best companies and specialists in the world meet", explained Enrique Mas.
