The 112 emergency service in the Balearic Islands has reported that until 10.00 am this Friday, November 3rd, a total of 63 incidents have been recorded related to the strong winds and storm at sea caused by the storm Ciarán in the Balearic Islands.

In addition, the emergency service warns all sailors of the dangers of this storm at sea and requests caution and to follow the prevention advice.
Mallorca has been the most affected island, with a total of 43 incidents (14 in Palma, 3 in Calvià, 2 in Sineu, Pollença, Sa Pobla, Sóller and Puigpunyent, and 1 in Valldemossa, Bunyola, Llubí, Sant Joan, Inca, Escorca, Santa Margalida, Alcúdia, Son Servera, and Porreras). Menorca followed with 9 (6 in Mahón, 2 in Ciutadella and 1 in Es Mercadal), in Ibiza there were 9 (5 in Ibiza, 2 in Sant Josep and Santa Eulària) and in Formentera 2.
Similarly, 112 has stressed that the outer harbor of Ciutadella remains closed.
For its part, the AEMET is maintaining the maximum orange level active for wind and forecasts gusts of between 70 and 80 kilometers until Sunday, as well as a drop in temperatures for this Friday.
