El equipo CNA Power, formado por los regatistas del club Matías Bonet, Mario Barceló, The CNA Power team, formed by the club's sailors Matías Bonet, Mario Barceló, Aina Jordi, Dani Cardona and Fernando Barceló was runner-up in the regatta, only beaten by the RCN Torrevieja boat. The podium was completed by the RCN Calpe team. "The result of CNA Power is a great result, especially considering that it was the first time that these sailors all sailed together. In the club we are very proud and excited with this second place in such an important event," says Ferran Muniesa, manager of the CNA.

In this way, the CNA team is in a good position for the second round of the Club League, which will be held at the Club Náutico Altea on the weekend of 2 and 3 December. This regatta will be sailed aboard Platú 25 boats and will decide which team will represent Spain in the Sailing Champions League, which will pit the winners of the respective leagues of different European countries against each other.

The sailors competed aboard Beneteau B-One class monotypes in short, fast races with direct judging at sea. "The programme foresaw races on Saturday and Sunday, but the weather prevented us from sailing on Saturday. On Sunday, however, we were able to hold a total of 12 races, with some waves and a south-westerly wind of around 12 knots on average, with peaks of up to 15 knots", Muniesa explained.

"But the most important thing is the great atmosphere at the club. Both Saturday and Sunday we held a breakfast with all the sailors, with an average age of 22. It has been very interesting for everyone to meet fellow sailors from different parts of Spain. They have bonded, shared experiences and had a great time", he highlights.
