YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!Over thirty sailors gathered this Sunday, October 20, at the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx to kick off the season and complete the first race of the League. However, although they were able to start with light southern breezes and briefly compete, a lack of wind forced the organization to cancel the race.
In this first race, the fleet took the opportunity to honor, with a minute of silence in the middle of the sea, Peter Gould, one of the most veteran sailors and racers of Puerto Andratx, who recently passed away.
Despite not being able to compete in the first of the races, the Two Seasons League of the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx has only just begun, and the cruisers have a schedule with a total of eleven races that will be held over the coming months, until May 18, when the Aquiles de Vita Trophy, the last race of the season, will be contested.
The next meeting for the sailors will be on November 17, when the second race of the League will take place and, if the weather permits, the standings for this twenty-eighth edition will be officially inaugurated.
