Today, we’re going to get to know a little more about the newest addition to the technical team of the Balearic Sailing Federation, coach Toni Ripoll. In love with the sea since he was very young, he has taken part in the last eight Olympic Games as a coach of various sailing teams. And although, as he says, “I’m old enough to retire,” his passion for sailing and sport has led him to take on a new challenge in his professional career: improving coaching development across the Balearic Islands.
But his love for the sea is not incompatible with another of his passions—nature and the mountains. In fact, Toni has confessed that, aside from enjoying skiing in the mountains, if he weren’t doing what he does now, he would live in the countryside.
These are just some of the characteristics that define the personality and determination of the Balearic Sailing Federation’s coach. But who really is Toni Ripoll? What are his passions, his hobbies, his dreams?
At Pasión por el Mar, we’ve set out to get to know him in a more personal and fun way and to discover his tastes and preferences, along with his future goals.
