The duo formed by Victor Perez and Luca Bruggioni dominated this weekend in the waters of the port by winning five of the six races that were held, taking the second meeting of the circuit. This event also served as the last training for the three crews from the Club who will participate at the end of the month in the Snipe World Championship. Jordi Triay and Enric Noguera, Lolo Beltran and Berni Mur, and Marta Torner and Enrique Mir left this Monday for Buenos Aires accompanied by Alex Tinoco, the Club's coach, who will also participate as a crew member.
On the water, Perez and Bruggioni made it clear from the start that they wanted the title by winning the first two races on Saturday and adding a third in the third race. On Sunday, which had better conditions, they managed 3 victories in their 3 attempts, sealing the title with 5 points. Toni Pons Faner and Claudia Pons Gleichova, from CN Ciutadella, took the silver with 10 points, while the bronze went to Guillermo Cervantes and Guillermo Gutierrez, from RCN Palma, with 21 points. The best pair from Mahón was formed by Fernando Rita and Xema Ulldemolins, who finished fourth with 29 points.
The Artiem Circuit will return, in principle, in April, when the Spring Cup, the third and penultimate meeting of the competition, is held.
