Violeta del Reino is awarded with bronze at the European Championship of Hansa 303

The sailor of the Club de Vela Puerto de andratx, Violeta del Reino, has finished third place in the European Championship of Inclusive Sailing EUROSAF 2023 competed the 23rd to the 30th of September at Los Alcázares, in Murcia.

About thirty sailors from different countries such as Portugal, Great Britain, France, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Croatia and Spain, have gathered in the Mar Menor to compete in five days of racing with a light wind that has marked the sailing conditions. 

The Hansa 303 class sailors were able to complete a total of 10 races, in which the Catalan Aina Gelpi was crowned European Women's Inclusive Sailing champion, accompanied on the podium by the Polish Olga Gornas-Grudzien, and the sailor from the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx and three times world champion, Violeta del Reino, who won the bronze medal. Her club teammate, Jana Mestre finished fourth.

In the men's category, the Polish and reigning world champion Piotr Cichocki has won the European gold medal, and the sailor of the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx, Alex Solera has been proclaimed runner-up, just 3 points behind the first position. His club mate, Pau Toni Homar finished fourth.
