The Wannsee in Berlin, where the competition took place, displayed its usual character this weekend: shifting wind directions with speeds up to 20 knots, early summer temperatures reaching 22 degrees Celsius, along with rain and thunderstorms. Due to lack of wind, no races were held on Friday, but the teams enjoyed an inspiring talk by British professional sailor Annie Lush, who shared her experiences in the Ocean Race.

None of the teams dominated the competition from the start, and the races were fiercely contested until the last moment, maintaining a very high level of competition throughout. The women's team from Club Nàutic S’Arenal, composed of Aina Colom, Marina Bonet, Aina Jordi, and Mahiira Monje, faced significant challenges due to the conditions on the Wannsee.

On the second day of sailing, Saturday, a total of eight races were completed. The Australian team "Derwent Sailing Squadron" proved to be very strong, while by the end of the day, a Scandinavian trend towards the podium was emerging. The Swedish team "Royal Swedish Yacht Club" and the Danish team "Aarhus Sejlklub" were vying for the top spot.

Anke Nowak, Managing Director of SAILING Champions League GmbH, expressed pride in the development of the format over the past few years: "It's fantastic to see women's sailing continuing to grow. The best women's yacht clubs in the world are participating."

The Final Four consisted of the Royal Swedish Yacht Club from Sweden, the "Aarhus Sejlklub" from Denmark, the Munich Yacht Club from Germany, and the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein from Germany. Norddeutscher Regatta Verein made their way to the final on the last day. They won against their three competitors in the first round, but in the second round, "Aarhus Sejlklub" prevailed, winning the 2024 Women's Sailing Champions League title. The Arenal crew ultimately finished in the seventeenth position in the overall standings.
